Focus on Sketches for Scrapbooking
What do scrapbookers all over the world, both paper and digi scrappers, have in common?
Scrappers love sketches and templates! Becky Higgins, in fact, has two best-selling books about creative sketches. Becky states on the Creating Keepsakes website that "the most common feedback I hear from scrapbookers like you is that sketches make scrapbooking more enjoyable because they give you a map to follow. You don't have to waste precious time figuring out where to place your photos."
This week we give you a fresh ideas for scrapbooking with sketches. Better yet, layered templates are even more time-saving because on does not need to guess at the sizes of the photos and paper layers. We'll show you how to use sketches and layered templates and show you where to find them too!

To use a layered template: open the template and open the papers and photos you want to use. Place the paper in a layer above the paper layer. Click ctrl-g to group together: this "cuts" the paper automatically for you. Repeat this for all your papers and photos.
