Ending Our Week of Fonts with a Bang!!!
Attention all readers:
Our debut newsletter went out overnight. If you did not get it, please check your spam folder. Otherwise, feel free to take a look at it here: Newsletter Archive You will want to read it because it has a very interesting interview only available in the Newsletter!
I started my page with a sheet of 8.5x11 vellum, and printed out my digital elements on that. Simply open a text box along the left side and type out your title/journaling with a variety of fonts. Mine were all downloaded from 2peas. Finish off with some different swirly brushes at the top and bottom of the page, mine are by Rhonna Farrer. Layer that vellum over a sheet of cardstock, then add another transparency (I used a Hambly Screenprints overlay) and add your photos.

How to:
Once I determined the size of the photo I opened WORD and created a text box in the lower portion of the page, leaving room for my title, photo and embellishment on the side. Then I just began jotting down the BECAUSE phrases that I found myself saying…often! I then began adjusting the font size up by 2-3 points for each phrase. I also moved the phrases up and down and adjusted the font sizes so that they fit on the page better and did not wrap the text. Once I had the journaling to my liking, I then printed it directly onto my cardstock and then attached the photo and other embellishments. The cardstock is Bazzill, white and all other embellishments are by Center City.

Oh, gorgeous layouts today!
Just a thought...can you guys give us a gallery link for those layouts, too, so that we can go and give the layout artists some love? I've seen some great stuff here and wanted to try tracking some of it down...
:)
Thanks Julie Ann! :) Loving the blog!
