What About the Words? Digital Scrapbooking Tutorial

Digital Scrapbooking with No Photos

Scrapbooking is not always about photos. It's about memories in general, and sometimes memories are about something intangible, or something that isn't documented. Creating a scrapbook page without photos may sound like a daunting task, but it's really quite freeing. No worries about coordinating papers and embellishments with your photos, for example.

  • In this type of page, the words are the stars.
  • This format is great for journaling, long narratives and other descriptions that just would be too much for a standard page.
  • It can be about lists, goals, thoughts, books or really anything that you want to preserve the memory.

I created a diary page to illustrated this concept. Here I just documented the little things that went on during my day. I had some fun with the embellishments on the page, and found a really fun font. I could turn the base of this page into a template and create a digital diary if I so desired.

So have fun, let loose and create, you don't need photos to scrap!
